How to Copy Instagram Reel Link - Quick Guide (2026)

Copying the Reel link is the first step to downloading any Instagram Reel. Here’s how to do it on every platform.

On iPhone & Android (Instagram App)

  1. Open Instagram and navigate to the Reel you want
  2. Tap the ⋯ (three dots) icon below the Reel
  3. Select Copy Link from the menu
  4. The link is now in your clipboard — ready to paste

On Desktop (Web Browser)

  1. Go to instagram.com in your browser
  2. Open the Reel you want to download
  3. Click the ⋯ (three dots) icon
  4. Select Copy Link, or simply copy the URL from your browser’s address bar
  • The link format looks like: https://www.instagram.com/reel/ABC123/
  • If “Copy Link” doesn’t appear, try updating your Instagram app
  • You can also tap Share → Copy Link on some versions
  • Links from the Share menu and the ⋯ menu are identical
